FEEDBACK

Well well , before My techs did the REV it UP contest inspection I thought this was going to be a piece of cake . Guess I thought wrong ! What I found out is that much more training is required. Best of all, my shop foreman (who doen't like any change) said the same thing--before i did!!--which i thought was great . This means my shop foreman is seeing the inconsitanties in the inspections that our techs are performing. So we have some more work to do in training of our techs. The shop foreman and I have deveolped an action plan with one big training class. Using a car on which the foreman will do a live inspection while everyone watches, he will explain what is cautioned, failed, passed and at the end he will hold a Q&A session. We will develop consistantcy in our shop!

The Rev it Up contest was great. It was a good opportunity to recheck my Technicians' inspection processes while giving them an chance to win some great prizes.

We had a very good and spirited competition with our 2010 winner, Crut Kruse, again coming through some tough competition as our in-house winner. I would recommend this competition to all the MPi dealers as it is a great way to verify the cosistancy of the inspections and offers a great opportunity to review the inspection proceedures with all the techs.

The REV it UP competition was great. It got the workshop back on the same page and it was good to revisit the tech inspections. After the competition we had a couple of shop meetings and got everyone to agree on common failures and cautions.

Great program! I had all my techs look at a non-Honda product to see what process we might need to adjust or change. It was interesting to see 20 different opinions on certain recommendations. It was a great learning and coaching opportunity and raised the skill level of some of the newer technicians.

What an exciting kick-off! We completed race I October 5th, and the technicians found it to be an enriching challenge. It was fun to participate in this event. The techs actively bonding with eachother and the shop talk leading up to the event were exciting to see and hear. I would encourage every dealer to participate. We look forward to meeting other area "best of the best" technicians on November 10th!

The REV it UP contest was a great way to focus on how close your technicians are with each other in terms of looking at the same vehicle and seeing how technicians' estimates match up. Not only does this help internally, it also allows the technicians to show their skills. I will be enrolling in this again next year.

I feel that the REV it UP competition is a great tool to isolate discrepancies and promote consistancy. Thanks.
